AKA – The American Kitefliers Association

The American Kitefliers Association is the national organization for kiting.  It sanctions kite festivals and competitions, and produces educational literature about kite flying and kite flying safety.  Registered AKA competitors at this event will earn points toward AKA standings.  You may join the AKA at the event, or by contacting them directly at (800) AKA-2550, or through their website at http://www.aka.kite.org.

Eastern League

The Eastern League Sport Kite Association sanctions this event.  Scores earned will count toward League standings which may qualify you for end-of-season awards provided you are a member before you compete.  You may join the League at the event, or by contacting the Eastern League Commissioner at (804) 736-1012, or via e-mail at commissioner@easternleague.net.  For more information, we invite you to visit the League’s web site at http://www.easternleague.net.
