General Information

Debris

Carry-In — Carry-Out.  Anything and everything you bring into the park has to leave with you.  You are responsible for keeping the area clean.  Please bring your own trash bags.

Gear Transport

Driving on the grass or bike paths is strictly prohibited and park police will issue tickets to those who violate those restrictions.  They also frown on stopping along the road to drop off gear.  The map in the directions to the competition shows the location of the primary parking and secondary parking lots.  We recommend bringing a cart or wagon to make your trip to the field easier.

Box Lunches

Arrangements have been made for box lunches to be served at the field on Saturday and Sunday for registered participants.  The cost is $7.50 for each day.  The box lunch will include a sandwich, chips, and drink and will be available at the hospitality tent at approximately 12:30pm each day.  Please see the registration section of the registration form for menu selection and ordering information. Orders placed on the day of the event must be received by 10:00am.  Please note that there will be no food vendors at this event.

Single Line Kites

Kite Makers Competition

Single line kites are welcome at Liberty State Park.  If you should choose to fly in the green lawn area, you will be required to sign a waiver.

Friday Fun Fly

Liberty State Park is open until 9:30 P.M.  Feel free to take advantage of the Green Lawn or adjacent playground field.

Saturday Night at Uno's Chicago Bar & Grill

Come join us Saturday evening for a casual dinner (order off the menu) at Uno's (Directions).  We have secured the back room of the restaurant from 7:30 to 10:30.  The room holds approximately 50 people so please indicate on your registration form if you will be joining us.  After the first 50 reservations are received seating will be first come, first served in the general restaurant area.  Peruse Uno's menu and even order on-line, if you want.  No-shows will forfeit their reservations at 8 P.M.  A small auction of quality items will be held from 9:30 to 10:30.  We are unable to accept credit cards this year; cash or check only, please.

Spectator Advisory

We strongly recommend that spectators take care to assure their own comfort and safety while attending this event. Please consider bringing along the following:

• Trash bags
• SunScreen products
• Hats
• Sunglasses
• Jackets
• Chairs or blankets
• Food and Water (There are no food vendors)
